Taking A Reading Challenge: #TheReadingQuest

I read a lot.

Always have and always will.

Lately, I've been hanging out at book-tuber sites on YouTube enjoying their reviews and recommendation on the old and new fantasy books. It's the latest genre that I'm diving into and having great fun getting to know the popular series, the classics, hidden gems, and what's coming in for the rest of 2017 and into 2018.

Actually, I heard of this challenge from Elena Reads Books

One of the fun things that I've come across some book-tubers promote are reading challenges. I have never entered a reading challenge and frankly, the list of rules are simple but still frightening to me. I feel as if I'll be obsessing about what I'm doing wrong, rather than reading the book. But I'm willing to give a go.

So the challenge is called The Reading Quest and we must use the hashtag to ensure that we get points for our social media outreach. Going after points are optional. I can simply just read the books and be happy. And with me cutting back on social media, I'm reluctant to log back onto accounts for the points. However, blogging is acceptable and this format works with my goals.

Here's the link if you'd like to join in. The deadline to sign up is Sunday, August 13. So hurry.

I've decided to go with Mage and therefore I'll start with the vertical line in front of my character. As I proceed with each book, I'll post the cover and a little blurb about it.

This will be quite challenging since I already have a pretty full TBR on my Kindle, but I love a challenge. And there are lots of books, after all.

Please note: the character art are created by CW of Read, Think, Ponder.

Please do not use her art for any purposes outside of this reading challenge, unless you are given her express permission.
